Hudson United Brethren Church

A Church to Call Home

Ministries
Sunday School

Beginning at 9 AM each Sunday morning, we offer Bible classes for adults & children.
We have 2 adult classes:
1) Winter 2011-12- studies in Genesis, Exodus, Luke & Galatians
2) Elective class studying the NewTestament book of John.

Youth, children & nursery classes are provided to give Bible instruction geared to each specific level.

Worship Service

Our Worship Service begins Sundays at 10 AM.  Our worship service includes a biblical message & a blend of contemporary & traditional music.

Kid's Club

We are in our 4th year of Kid’s Club.  This ministry is geared to children age 4 to grade 5.  They meet each Sunday evening in the church basement from 6-7:30 PM.  Maxine & Bob Young are the Kid’s Club directors.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group is for students in grades 6-12.  Our group meets from 6-7:30 PM on Sunday nights at the Hall.  Cecilia Siler is our Youth Group Leader.  The group usually has a monthly activity, often offsite.  Activities have included New Year’s Eve Party, Bowling, Swimming, Back-to-School party & much more.

GriefShare
Pastor Craig led a GriefShare class on Sunday evenings in the Fall of 2011 for individuals who are dealing with grief issues.  Each class was self-contained, so valuable insights were gained in each session.  Another series of classes will likely begin soon.  Contact pastor Craig if you are interested in participating in this group.

Tuesday Night Bible Study

Bill & Peg Brand have been hosting a Bible Study on Tuesday nights for a number of years.  This group has studied a variety of Bible books, including Galatians & Revelation.  They are currently studying the Gospel of Luke.
Spend your Tuesday nights with this rambunctious group as they study God's Word & enjoy some snacks together.

Girl's Day In

On the first Wednesday of every month from 5-9 PM, various ladies gather at the Fellowship Hall for a day of crafts, projects & other things.  Ladies bring their scrapbook material, sewing & knitting projects & other projects.  There is no hard & fast schedule.  Ladies come & go as their schedule allows.  The Hospitality Committee oversees this monthly event.
Rachel Jordan helps to coordinate these events.
